I am winding my account down but I was investing using my own scripts up until last summer. Try the following. Best of luck.

Code: [Select]
import requests (among the others you need)

basic_header = {'authorization': 'YOUR_API_KEY'}
urlLoans = 'https://api.lendingclub.com/api/investor/v1/loans/listing'

r = requests.get(urlLoans, headers=basic_header)
loan_data = r.json()

# parse, filter, etc.

This is really getting frustrating. Loan ID: 41850384, late 4 months in a row, with a .16 investor fee for each of those months, yet no late fee charged the borrower??? To add insult to injury there are two entries in the collection log stating the borrower initiated contact promising to pay. I don't see how LC can ethically charge me .16 of the .86 payment for four months in a row, when only one of those four months shows activity in the collection log... and that was the borrower initiating the contact. Ridiculous enough I have to pay 18% of the payment for the collectors answering the phone or e-mail in one month, but how in the #*!?@ can I be charged any "collection" fee when no action is listed to justify that action for three of the four months? I'm hoping some eager law firm may wish to look into this for a potential class action lawsuit.

I'm going to join the "wind down my LC investment" club. I've had it with the inconsistencies. I've been lurking on this forum for quite some time and registered just to say thanks to the many contributors on here. Thank You!

The final straw for me is the fees charged for a borrower who for 5 months in a row has been late. This borrower has always initiated contact with the payment specialist and promised to pay. Not once in the collection log does it show payment solutions specialist contacting the borrower. So, on this 5th late month, I'm charged a .10 collection fee of the .58 payment, yet there's never been a late fee. With no collection activities initiated by the collectors, they get a 17% cut of this month's payment and we lenders get zero.

I invested using the API and had a very conservative filter built. My stats are below, which according to the graphic, if it's to be believed, on my Understanding Your Returns page shows me doing a little better than average.

Adjusted Net Annualized Return:   5.24%
Weighted Average Interest Rate:   14.27%
Weighted Average Age of Portfolio: 14.6 mos
Number of Notes: 812

I have another 500+ notes I purchased on FolioFn that are returning 6.79%
