Is it the sale date? Or the settlement date?

Sunday is the last day of the year, and Monday is a holiday. Do trades settle on Saturday?

Do Folfion trades ever actually settle on the same day? And if so, what time is the cutoff?

I know it would be safest to sell on Thursday so it can settle on Friday and avoid the weekend, but I I'm still trying to make up my mind what I want to do.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

"Household debt in the U.S. totals a staggering $12.58 trillion, a level not seen since 2008, according to the New York Federal Reserve's quarterly report released Thursday.

The figure represents a $226 billion increase in household debt for the fourth quarter, the largest quarterly increase since 2013.

The ballooning debt figure is attributed mostly to rising reliance on home and auto loans, the report said. Credit card debt and student loans also played a part."

Is this a recent change? What's the point?

For example,  https://www.lendingclub.com/account/loanPerf.action?loan_id=55401024&order_id=92547888&note_id=88707596

"Outstanding Principal   $0.00"

But right above it, it says:

"Remaining Payments (24)   $18.07"

and in the Payment History:

"Principal Balance $17.10"

Also, if you look at the same loan in Foliofn, it shows the amount:

https://www.lendingclub.com/foliofn/loanPerf.action?loan_id=55401024&order_id=92547888&note_id=88707596

"Outstanding Principal   $17.10"

Investors - LC / Is there a way to see currently Pending Transfers?
« on: October 18, 2016, 09:36:55 PM »
When you transfer money out of LendigClub, the amount is subtracted from your Available Cash, but after you click away from that page I don't see any way to find out what that amount was. They send you an email the next business day (I think), and it shows up in your Activity after about a week.

But before that is there some way to see what transfers are currently pending?

I don't know when they made this change but I just noticed it now.

If anyone is filtering for this message, you might want to update your search patterns.

10/12/16

I got like 70 of them, totaling about 75 cents.

UPDATE: They've been trickling in all day. I've got like 120 of them now.

"As a part of ongoing improvement efforts, we've simplified the navigation to make it easy to focus on what matters to you. We haven't removed anything, so you can still access all the features you love."

This is a MAJOR BIG DEAL folks!!! And only the start!!! This is going to put LendingClub BACK ON THE MAP!!!!

One thing though, how do I get to Folio?

Investors - LC / Almost made it
« on: August 19, 2016, 05:19:11 PM »
This guy seems to owe about $60 on his $16K loan ($0.09 / $25 * $16,800). He made a big payment in Feb/March and then stopped paying. LendingClub calls him at least a few times a week, but hardly ever leaves a message.

How do you guys interpret this?

Just another oddity to throw out for your amusement. I found these 3 pretty easily, so there's probably a lot more. These were paid off early, but even with original loan term 2015/2016 seems excessive.

Fully Paid: 8/20/2010
Most Recent FICO: 1/13/2015

Investors - LC / How are Loan ID's assigned?
« on: January 12, 2016, 11:09:59 PM »
The highest Loan ID gets higher every month, but some loans still get low numbers. Is there a method to this madness?

11
It does for me, but should it?

I mean, if a borrower's historical FICO scores imply something about that borrower's likelihood of repaying the loan, shouldn't that information already be incorporated into their current FICO score?

Still, I like to see a pretty trend. (When buying stocks, I also like to see a pretty stock chart.)

What do you think?

I'm working on a Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey script that can upload the contents of your Trading Statement(s) to a database. To reward cooperation, I'm thinking people who agree to upload their data would have access to (anonymized) data from that database.

Right now the script uploads Buy and Sell transactions, but I could change it to just upload Sell transactions. On the other hand, in the last couple of years I've only bought notes so maybe that's not fair. As a trader, do you feel like your Buy transactions are more sensitive than your Sell transactions? Or vice versa?

The script can scrape going all the way back to when you started trading on Foliofn, but I could change it to only do more recent transactions, for example the last month or 2. Or maybe participants would prefer to only upload older data. As a trader, do you have an opinion on this?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Would anyone here be interested in participating in something like this?

Investors - LC / payment history file in an online database
« on: March 20, 2015, 12:14:04 AM »
I've put the payment history file in an onlie Postgres database.

lcacdb.compressedtime.com:5432 without ssl
user: anonymous
pw: anonymous
db: lcac
table: pmthist_all

For example:

select *
from pmthist_all
order by loan_id
limit 10

Please don't abuse it.

This is something I hadn't noticed before. Loan Status at the time of payment in the Payment History. Is this new? Was all they needed an $800 million infusion of cash to get the ball rolling?

The extra $0.00 payments every month still seem unnecessary to me, though.

e.g. https://www.lendingclub.com/account/loanPerf.action?loan_id=444216&order_id=2348060&note_id=694541
