I'm assuming that its a mistake

Investors - LC / No Folio Trading for IRA message gone?
« on: July 10, 2014, 03:40:22 PM »

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee or haven't looked at my IRA recently.. but I don't see that message anymore.
Anyone else still see it?

Investors - LC / Folio selling temporarily down?
« on: April 18, 2014, 12:28:05 PM »
Has anyone been able to put any notes for sale in the last few days?
It gives me an error every time.

Investors - LC / It may not be verified.. but seriously....
« on: October 09, 2013, 10:04:04 AM »

I understand that people can just put in whatever they want into the fields... But you would think that LC would do some sort of basic validation if they don't do verification..
The income is obviously for the year or a typo...

Investors - LC / rush of early payoffs
« on: October 07, 2013, 03:59:23 PM »

Has anyone noticed an increase lately?
I've seen about 9 of my notes pay off early in the last few days, many before I received a single regular payment.
Since I bought them all on folio, I am looking at a small loss on most...

Investors - LC / verified income...?
« on: September 19, 2013, 10:13:26 AM »

So I wouldn't buy this for a number of reasons, but I also have some trouble believing the income..

I mean 400k a year for someone at a car dealership...

Now it might be possible that they had a particularly outstanding month, and submitted the totals for that month.
Then the DTI doesn't make sense, at least as far as I can tell.

Foliofn - LC / Plenty of notes > 20%, no markup.. F grade
« on: August 08, 2013, 11:16:40 AM »

Looks like someone is selling a dozen notes per loan on at least 10 different loans.

I wouldn't say these are great.. but if you are looking for F notes at no markup, this is about as good as you can expect.

Investors - LC / so you want some money for your pool...
« on: July 22, 2013, 03:31:03 PM »

I wouldn't invest in this primarily because of the delinquencies.. but taking a second to read the details really makes me wonder...

Supposedly nearly 270k income...
Home ownership: Rent
Loan description: ... ... to finance a pool...
Q & A ...  rent is 2000

So this person makes over a quarter million a year.. wants a loan for 30k to finance a pool at their home which they rent.

Investors - LC / earliest/oldest credit line thoughts
« on: June 24, 2013, 10:33:03 AM »

Does anyone else use the earliest credit line as a hard or soft filter for their investments? If so, what are your cutoff years?

I tend to be very cautions with any credit histories that start after 2007 or before 1977.

I generally also pay close attention to the number of credit lines in relation the age of the oldest one.

Investors - LC / IRA contribution transfer time
« on: June 18, 2013, 11:11:45 AM »
For those that are making yearly contributions to their LC IRA, how long did your transfer take?
When was the $ available in your account?

Investors - LC / Notes repricing themselves???
« on: June 13, 2013, 10:43:43 AM »
I'm not sure what is going on, but some of my notes are definitely for sale at a price different than what I originally posted.

Over 95% of my notes seem to be at the same price that I set, but a few are clearly different.

I'm not sure what price I set for some of the specific notes.. but I know for sure it wasn't 24.97.. it would have been 24 or 25.

There are a few other notes where the price seems to have increased or decreased by relatively small amounts.

Has anyone seen this before?

Investors - LC / I should have read the Q & A...
« on: May 16, 2013, 10:57:17 AM »
I generally do, but somehow I missed this part...

"To pay off high interest credit cards and place the balance in a high-yield savings account in order to rebuild the savings I have been using to make ends meet."

Given the 1 year employment and the description I should have passed on it.

When someone borrows at 21% and plans to put part of it in a savings account at less than 1%, that is kind of a red flag...

Investors - LC / where have all the good (folio) notes gone..?
« on: April 15, 2013, 01:15:07 PM »
I'm used to seeing 100s of notes each week that meet most of my criteria and purchasing a few of them at a time.

In the last two weeks or so, next to nothing.  I don't know if there are less people selling or more buying, but I just don't see too many lately.

I know it can't be just me, because some of my notes have sold at a significant markup over the last week.

Investors - LC / why would anyone buy notes in bankruptcy?
« on: April 04, 2013, 03:05:29 PM »

As far as I can guess, the main reason is that people don't scroll down to look at that information and just purchase the note anyway.

Has anyone actually received payments from a note that was in bankruptcy after debts were somehow restructured?

Foliofn - LC / Decent notes for sale
« on: March 20, 2013, 11:52:38 AM »
Just saw a ton..
Bought a bunch and now I'm out of $..  so get them if you want them...

PS. These are the buy at 0 discount and hold kind of notes.. not the buy at huge discount and resell...
