Investors - LC / 1 in 3 U.S. adults have 'debt in collections

I had no idea it was anywhere near this high.  I assume people with debt in collections would have credit ratings too low to get loans from LC, is this true?

Investors - LC / wave of grace notes

I got about 10 grace notes this weekend, is it just my bad luck or is LC slow to process payments or something?

Investors - LC / Folio Premiums
« on: April 23, 2014, 01:19:43 PM »
Is it just my imagination or has the premium for  "good" notes on Folio increased substantially over the past month or two?  I'm selling (a lot of) notes at premiums I've never seen before and can't seem to find many to buy at the premiums I'm willing to pay using filters that I was able to buy substantial numbers of notes with before.

I'm interested if this is a phenomenon restricted to a niche of the very narrow filter set I'm using or a larger trend in Folio.

Investors - LC / Auto Invest for Folio

Are there any auto-invest programs or sites for Folio?  I keep seeing miss-priced notes on IR but I'm never fast enough to grab them.

Investors - LC / Folio Trading
« on: August 10, 2013, 12:15:40 PM »
I see an odd pattern in Folio sales for some notes.  Often one note gets traded much more often than any other.  Usually they trade once a day usually at a markup that would make it unattractive to most buyers (+3%-5%).  An example is below

Note ID   Markup/Discount   Date Listed   Date Sold
25025047   +4.29%   08/08/2013   08/09/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +4.30%   08/07/2013   08/08/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +4.30%   08/06/2013   08/07/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.78%   08/03/2013   08/04/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.78%   08/01/2013   08/02/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.78%   07/30/2013   07/31/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.78%   07/29/2013   07/30/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.79%   07/28/2013   07/29/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.30%   07/26/2013   07/27/2013 (1 day)
25025047   +3.34%   07/25/2013   07/26/2013 (1 day)
25025047   -0.08%   07/24/2013   07/25/2013 (1 day)

What is up with this? it must be someone trading the notes back and forth between accounts.  I don't understand why anyone would do this, is there some profit to be made doing this?  It is very common for many notes.  Any ideas?
