Foliofn - LC / Getting data for one's own sold notes
« on: January 20, 2020, 03:08:39 AM »
I know price models have been discussed before, for example:

https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php/topic,21586.0.html
https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php/topic,4824.0.html
https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php/topic,4849.0.html

And as Fred93 said at https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php?topic=4455.0:
"
There's no reporting of transaction prices on Folio, so you have to discover for yourself what prices buyers will pay.

The fact that there is no transaction price data on the folio Marketplace is one of its greatest failings IMHO.  Whoever heard of a market with no historical price information?
"

I have sold enough notes that I could discover for myself what prices buyers will pay. But that involves a lot of clicking- My Account, Sold This Month, click on current, and write down the details. Is there not an API to get your sold notes, including the grade, interest rate, payments made, etc? Or a way to download it?

Investors - LC / LLC to get around state restrictions?
« on: April 02, 2019, 11:03:14 PM »
I've been receiving emails from LC about their "Additional Account Types", e.g. corporate accounts. Couldn't an investor living in a restricted state set up an LLC in a permitted state and invest that way? And I assume that would apply to the secondary market as well as new loans?

The last discussion of this on the forum was way back in 2014.

This page says:

Corporate account
---------------------
An account opened in the name of a corporation or LLC. This type of account can be controlled by an authorized representative of the corporation. If you would like to open an account in the name of a corporation, please contact Investor Services at 1-888-596-3159 or investing@lendingclub.com

Foliofn - LC / Orders API doesn't return orders IN_LISTING
« on: September 28, 2018, 04:18:25 AM »
I'm trying to use the Orders endpoint in the new LC API to get my open "sell" orders, similar to the example in the API documentation:

/api/investor/v1/secondarymarket/accounts/70654/orders?orderType=SELL

I get back orders with the following statuses:

'CANCELED_TIME_EXPIRED', 'CANCELED_BY_DEFAULT_OR_CHARGE_OFF', 'CANCELED_BY_PAYMENT', 'SETTLED', 'CANCELED_BY_SELLER'

but I do not get any with status IN_LISTING. I do have notes currently for sale- I see them at https://www.lendingclub.com/foliofn/tradingAccount.action- so I expect them to be IN_LISTING. Has anyone used this API successfully to get open sell orders?

Pleease don't suggest I contact LC support  ::)

Investors - LC / What percent of IGP notes will default?
« on: March 06, 2018, 07:01:59 PM »
I've started buying statistically significant numbers of notes on the secondary market in the past two months. Based on LC historical data, I expect a certain number of defaults. So far, I have no defaults, but several have gone into the grace period (IGP) for the first time. What percent of those should I expect to eventually default?

Anil has https://www.peercube.com/blog/category/peercube/10 that suggests 41% if I read it correctly, but I think it's based on notes that both originated and terminated in 2014- probably a skewed dataset.

In case it matters, I buy mostly EFG grade, 60 months, never late.

Foliofn - LC / Trouble with /foliofn/notesRawData.action
« on: January 28, 2018, 03:05:24 AM »
Hi, first time post.. From the Folio Browse Notes page, I can set my filters and "Download Search Results". That works fine. Now I want to do the same thing programatically using https://www.lendingclub.com/foliofn/notesRawData.action, but I get a "page does not exist" web page instead of the data I expect.

As Fred93 said (https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php/topic,2231.15.html), you have to be logged in. Well I'm logged in with Chrome, Firefox, and IE, but it still doesn't work.

Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!
