2 and 20.  WOW!  I had no idea this was going on with P2P funds.  Straight up 2 and 20 with no preferred returns/hurdles?  1) I would find one of those PPMs an interesting read and 2) regardless of how well it read I would stay FAR away.  Maybe Accel or Sequoia can have my money on these terms, but in this industry F no.

Thanks Bryce, Thanks PeerTrader.

With a hit rate that low, I am guessing PeerTrader is using the top 1% of P2P Maximizer picks.  I am going to have some awesome returns.  ;)

I added a few bucks to my Prosper account to try out your service with P2P Picks.  I selected auto-invest profit maximizer with $25/note.  After two days, here is what I have:

$100 invested - 3 B notes and 1 C note

A hit rate of 0.04%

Two notes where the listing was closed before my investment was placed.

Also, your dashboard shows that I invested twice in the same notes (attached), but your risk management feature seems to have blocked the 2nd investment and only $25 was invested.

The biggest surprise is the hit rate which you define as the number of notes that hit the platform that meet my criteria.  The 0.04% number seems very low.  Why is the hit rate so low for the p2p Pmax strategy?

I have not touched my BluVestment account in quite some time and thought everything was going along great until today.  I do not manually place orders or place orders through any other website.

I just checked my email and noticed multiple loan order notification emails from Lending Club that had the same number of loans and the same exact weighted average interest rate.  I never place more than $25 in any individual note so I first sorted my pending loans by value and all were $25.  Then I sorted by Loan ID and noticed some matches.  I clicked on these matches and, sure enough, they were the same loan.  I have not looked through all the loans, but on one note I have invested in the same note 10 times!  And another I have invested in the same note 19 times!!!!!  These notes appear to be P2P Picks Loss Minimizer notes that were not fully funded in a short period.  I sure hope these are good notes!

I don't check each loan that BluInvestment makes on my behalf, but I do scan each email that lending club sends me.  I would have noticed this relationship before, this must have only been happening for a day or two.

I double checked my settings on BluVestment and it is set to $25 per note and 1 note per loan.

It should be noted that the multiple investment examples above have identical Loan IDs, but different Note IDs.

I have disabled BluVestment for now, please advise when it is safe to turn it on again.

Thank you for the great tool!

In the past few days, BlueVestment has plowed through my available cash and got it to zero.  The cash balance was below $25 after yesterday afternoon's 2pm LC release.  I logged in to my LC account this morning before the LC 6am release and noticed there was a few hundred dollars available from payments, but nothing was invested on my behalf at the 6am or 10am runs (no filter changes).  I found it a bit odd as I was getting a ton of notes over the past few days.

Is the BlueVestment engine able to turn itself back on once it has used up the cash in the account?

Hi Bryce,

I just logged on to get some notes and two of the picks were not added to my order as they were gone already.  I noted that these two picks were already 70+% funded when they showed up on your platform.

Thanks for the great site, hope your model works!   ;)

Bryce,

I have been logging on to your site right around the time of the LC loan updates.  In a previous post you mentioned that you have adjusted your pricing to compensate for loans that were not funded, have you thought of adjusting the pricing due to loans being fully funded between your data grab and the time a user can realistically place an order for the loan.  I have noticed over the past couple days that there have been numerous instances where I click "Go" and the Lending Club web page says zero notes have been added to your order.

On a side note, I still have to clear my cookies from Safari on a daily basis in order to log on to your site.  I am still using 1password as clearing cookies is easier than typing in my long pasword.

Cheers

Bryce,

Did you make any changes in the last day or so?  I thought for shits and giggles I would try logging on in Chrome Beta again and there was not a problem.  Hopefully, you did make a change so I will not feel stupid for this being some sort of user error.

The only problem I had when I logged in earlier today at 2:03pm and there were no picks :); man those notes are disappearing fast.

Cheers

Macbook Pro with 10.8.3
Chrome 27.0.1453.65 beta
Navigate to http://www.p2p-picks.com/account
Use 1Password browser extension to fill and submit
Nothing happens, so I manually try to enter credentials and click on submit; still nothing happens.

Safari 6.0.4
Same steps and nothing happens.
Today I completely "Reset Safari" and I was able to logon successfully

After having success by resetting Safari, I cleared the browsing data in Chrome, but it still did not work.

Hope this helps.

Hi Bryce,

Thanks for the great product.

I had one question for you or the other users; are there browser specific log on problems?  My everyday browser is Chrome Beta and after I enter my credentials and hit the sign on button, nothing happens.  I figure, no worries it is a beta product, so I start up Safari and that worked for a few weeks.  A couple days ago, I could not log on with Safari, so I shifted over to Explorer in Parallels and that has been working fine.  It seems like an odd problem, but I thought I would mention it here as I have absolutely no log on problems on any other websites.

Cheers

Oh boy, this is getting exciting.  Prosper Funding has filed two S-1/A in the past 10 days; they must be down to just clearing minor SEC comments now.  It also looks like they are going to have an awful month for originations.

Once that S-1 is effective, I think we get an announcement of some kind and I am anxious to hear it.  If I were not so lazy I would create a poll, in which, my vote would be that we hear about a massive new funding round in December or at the latest in January.

General Prosper Discussion / Re: Why is Prosper losing so much money
« on: November 19, 2012, 01:01:17 PM »
My thoughts on Prosper are in this thread:  http://www.lendacademy.com/forum/index.php?topic=194.0

Since the last post on the thread, Prosper's Q3 2012 has come out which did not provide any information for me to change my approach to Prosper.

After a rebound in growth in September, they struggled again in October.  I know Peter has a lot of faith in Prosper, but I would like share my plan.  I am starting to sell a few more notes than usual and I am for sure not investing any new money on the platform until:

1)  The Prosper Funding S-1 is effective and you see a substantial pickup in month over month loan volume,
2)  They close a massive funding round (round closing & announcement timed around date S-1 is effective?), or
3)  They are acquired

I feel that the potentially higher returns on Prosper are more than offset by the unknowns that bankruptcy would present; my money is going to LC.  The 10Q should be out in the next two weeks, I urge everyone to read it and pay attention to cash on the balance sheet and cash flows from operations.

Investors - LC / Re: Accrued versus paid interest

Ok that makes sense; yes my account is relatively new.

I was thinking that the accrued interest balance was the total amount of interest accrued on loans to date.

Thank you.
