I think I'm the dot directly to the left, at half the portfolio age.

Would be interesting to see how someone maintains the same returns at 24 months.

Wasn't there something on the LC site before or on the link to 'trade notes'?

Investors - LC / No Folio Trading for IRA message gone?
« on: July 10, 2014, 03:40:22 PM »

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee or haven't looked at my IRA recently.. but I don't see that message anymore.
Anyone else still see it?

Has anyone been able to put any notes for sale in the last few days?
It gives me an error every time.

I just got off the phone with Lending Club again.  This time the guy was more explanatory than the gal I spoke to previously.  He said they were aware of the problem and were working on a fix to allow trading in notes from the IRA accounts.  He said it may be complete within a matter of months but could not give an exact date!

Of course this sounds exactly like what they told me a few months ago... so it should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

Without reinvesting and selling late notes, my IRA is starting to lose money...  :-[

You mean your returns are dropping or do you actually have negative returns?  Big difference.

Negative in the short term, decreasing overall.

Unfortunately since I'm in a folio-only state, the only way to reinvest is through Folio.

I'm waiting for them to 'get their ducks in a row'.. while my IRA return keeps going down and down since I can't (or shouldn't) reinvest anything.
With the current mess I'd be perfectly happy to sell my IRA portfolio and transfer to another investment.. Of course I can't (or shouldn't) do that either.

Nice one Core..

Sometimes looking at whats available on folio feels more like the second picture.

The latest from LC is that I am 'discouraged' from trading through it

Is this something new they sent you?  The last I heard/saw it was "forbidden" (although not electronically forbidden).  That's quite a bit stronger than "discouraged".

That was their official response to the question of folio/sales purchases from an IRA in a folio-only state that was started years ago before any ban or any hint of one.

Someone just bought up every note in the past-due market that were listed at >93% discount. It completely cleared out my "fire sale" inventory. If you want to sell your bad notes, do it now before the whale goes away.

Looks like they took at least a dozen of mine as well.
Another dozen just missed the cutoff...

In a folio state, so trader by default..

Not quite the same volume as you.. but that might change once I figure out the mess that is my IRA.

The latest from LC is that I am 'discouraged' from trading through it, but they can't say for sure what the future holds.

Foliofn - LC / Major FolioFN redesign

http://kb.lendingclub.com/siteupdates/articles/Site_Updates/New-Trading-Platform-Features-and-Design-effective-March-5-2014

A few new features, but a completely different look and feel to the site.

It might be a bit slicker.. but I think it makes it more difficult to see key items.
