Investors - P / I can't log into nsrplatform.com
« on: July 06, 2019, 09:03:25 AM »
Is anyone else having this problem?

I put in my UN/PW
Click Login button
Get this message 'Whoops, looks like something went wrong.'
Click OK button
Get this message 'Loading user account data...' and it sits at 75%

It's hard to do things when you can't get in and their support says that they are out until Monday.

General Prosper Discussion / Re: Prosper not in Missouri anymore???
« on: October 24, 2018, 10:33:06 AM »
Does anyone know what office/department in Missouri regulates this? I would like to contact them to see if I can get more information about what the problem is. I have built up over $6,000 in idle cash and would like to get it working as well as add this year's IRA contribution to it.

General Prosper Discussion / Prosper not in Missouri anymore???
« on: September 28, 2018, 04:53:14 PM »
You can't invest in Prosper anymore if you live in Missouri. I started getting the below message yesterday when I logged into my Prosper account.

I have not received an email from them about this.
There is nothing about this on Prosper's website, including their Blog or Press sections.
I have not been able to find anything out about this on the web.
There is nothing about this on Lend Academy's website, including their Editorial/Blog or News sections.
And the most interesting thing about this is that their website says we can. Scroll to the bottom and under Contact Us, click Legal, and then under All site members, click Legal compliance.

Prosper is currently available only to investors who reside in the following states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

For the people that are going to say, just call them, I have never had a good experience with their customer service. The few times I've used it, the information I was given ended up being wrong. That's why I trust Lend Academy, this forum and the web more than I trust them.

Unfortunately, at this time investors in Missouri are not able to invest or transfer money to Prosper. You may transfer money out of your Prosper account as funds become available from loan payments.

No, you are correct. I wish they would have kept it up all along and not been so unresponsive to our requests.

Unfortunately, I decided to not make my or my wife's 2017 IRA contribution to Prosper. I wanted to, but NSRPlatform, a division of Lend Academy, made the decision for me. I have repeatedly asked NSRPlatform, over almost a year's time frame, to get the loan data of Lending Club and Prosper updated. Lending Club data is current as of 3/31/2017 and Prosper data is current as of 4/28/2017. There is no other place to back test filters for either company. I've talked to both companies and they both verify that they are releasing their data. I talked to NSRPlatform and was told that they want to provide data transparency for all investors, but it's a low priority. I was shocked too. What they actually said was that other things were a higher priority, that's the same thing. That's $13,000 to Schwab instead of Prosper. I just can't justify investing more money into something right now when I can't get access to recent loan data.

Also, it just looks very amateurish/suspect when you go to NSRPlatform's homepage and see that the data is way out of date and Prosper's Loan Availability Index, a pod that shows streaming loan data as loans are released for investment, isn't working. That stopped working a while ago and it just sits there all empty. Lending Club's is right next to it and it works, making Prosper's blank one look that much worse.

Prosper says they release loan data every quarter, but NSRPlatform is almost a year behind again. Like I've previously said, I like Prosper, but they seem to be doing everything they can to run off individual investors. I still can't decide if I should give them my IRA contribution again this year or not.

Thanks for the info.

Is it just me or does Prosper seem to have very few loans to choose from lately? There have been a few times where they didn't even have one loan to invest in. I don't mean one loan that matched my filter, but just any loan.

13
It would be interesting to know which of those two statements is right. Either Prosper is starting to right the ship or they are still hemorrhaging money.

Thanks Fred93 for keeping on them. It's a shame NSR isn't more responsive. I hope they keep it up so we don't have to go through all this again real soon.
