Thanks, Rubicon.  Thank you for the zip updates too.  I'm selling mine.

PeerCube / Portfolio Snapshot

Since, according to the Active Notes definition at the bottom of this chart, my Active Notes number (1694) is wrong, does that mean the average age of my active notes is also wrong?

With nothing else to do, I just decided to look again and wonder "out loud" to somebody here.

The Active Notes are those notes that haven't been Charged Off or Fully Paid yet. The Active Notes Distribution displays the portfolio exposure, by remaining principal, to different Credit Grades and Loan Terms.

I also received it, and wondered if I was targeted because of my declining balance in spite of occasional purchases.

I took it that "our" referred to both NSR and Lending Robot, which are now one.  Yes, for the latter it can only get better.

"•Access to our dedicated client service team"  ?!  Yeah.  Uh-huh.  Not so much.

Investors - LC / Re: Worst Month Yet

This was my first ever negative month, after taxes and charge offs.  I brought it on myself by deliberately changing my standards for the Dec. 2016 portfolio.

Thanks, Rob L.  I've been enjoying your posts and helpful attitude for a long time, regularly.
I should probably say so more often!

I appreciate the effort that goes into the thoughtful contributions of you and many posters here, who know so much more than I.   :)

When I want to sell I use the LC site and don't bother trying to sell late notes any more.  That's because I don't need any losses.

So I pick a category (lowest interest is fastest for me), sort by that, and offer nearly everything that's current. at -.25% to start.

Then I drop it about 4x/day.  -2.5 gets most sold.

If I have to drop to a net loss amount I just don't. Canceled by User takes care of those.  Often they will sell in a later batch if they're still current.

When I pick the ones to list, I choose <$23 payments received if the balance is still a fair amount, and watch the payment due date to keep it about 3 days out so I don't get a Canceled Payment Pending (especially after a weekend or holiday).

When the For Sale list is empty, in about 3 days, I start over with a new list of currents.

I have a fast paper and pencil notebook system that keeps me up to date with how many sold, when, and for what discount.

I love PeerCube, and have often used it, but to me this is more practical time-wise.  I list about 30-50 at a time, or up to a hundred.

Thanks very much for your reply.
It's ok to go ahead and drop me off then.
I greatly appreciate all the work you've put into this project!

I have wound down my account from $125K max to $15K now, with 900 active notes.
Only bought 25 notes this month.  Have not totally quit (yet); buying only 36 mos. now.
Started in 2008.
Question:  Should I continue to update in this thread or drop out??
Don't want to keep the chart unnecessarily longer than is helpful.
Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I'm not sure you realize that practically everyone on this forum reads all the posting categories' new messages.   ;-)

Off Topic / Re: Google News Redesign Sucks
« on: June 29, 2017, 11:30:51 AM »
It's a giant AI training machine... In stupid fucking google, news reads you.  No wonder the EU is regulating these guys.  I see inability to drill down into a keyword - and only into a predefined "topic" - and I think, oh, what I see is being limited, so I can be the human captcha to train the "what does and does not belong in this topic" algorithm.  Goddamit.  Is nothing sacred?  I am becoming very tired of this shit.

Silicon Valley is due for a giant backlash.

Sure do agree with everything you said.

I live in Southers Utah, where everything is "managed", from demographic catalogs to radio stations to book stores.  Noticed the difference as soon as I left California.  Without useful computer searches I feel more censored and restricted than ever.
