Hi folks-

At the suggestion of Rob L (warm welcome to you as a new member), and Edward, I have consulted with Peter on creating a "Most Commonly Asked Newbie Investor Questions" section/documentation on the Lend Academy site. Trust me, the name is not for sure yet :)

Anyway, where you all can help out is by posting here the discussion topics/links that you think would be essential for a new investor in the p2p space to know or understand.

It will be most helpful if you can share your input in the following format:

- Topic Description
- Link to Post (if there is one)
- The important info from the post (what the new investor should understand)
- Category to place this topic in

Categories:
-FAQs
-----LC
-----Prosper
-----General
-----Interest Radar
-----P2P-Picks
-----Peer Cube
-----Nickel Steam Roller
-----FolioFN
-Important Stats
-----LC
-----Prosper
-----General
-Important Concepts
-----LC
-----Prosper
-----General
-Known issues/problems
-----LC
-----Prosper
-----General
-----Interest Radar
-----P2P-Picks
-----Peer Cube
-----Nickel Steam Roller
-----FolioFN

I look forward to hearing your thoughts and input. If you have any feedback on adding any categories to this existing list, I will be happy to consider them.

Something describing the usual time it takes for funded loans to make it through review, as well as a description of the delay between due dates and payments being processed.  People usually figure that out fairly quickly, but the first month always seems to spawn a few worried questions.

Now when someone searches "FAQ" this post will lead them to to Peter's "Best of" blogs:

Very useful reading indeed.
