LC Android app finally allows ordering notes - price reduction
« on: November 21, 2013, 04:50:37 PM »
Received an ad on FB last night about a new app for LC investors that finally allows the user to order notes from an Android.  I've only had it for a couple of hours, but it worked exactly as promised. Totally worth the $20 for functionality.

Nice Find Aim66!

It looks like a promising app. Unfortunately, its not an LC-produced app, but it looks pretty intriguing. For anyone interested, here is the direct link to the app on the Google Play Store:

It's showing $4.99 for me. Maybe they re-priced it since yesterday's launch?

Yeah, that appears to be the case.

Quite the price reduction - had I waited one single day...Still totally worth what I paid, but I'm sure this will help adoption of their app.  Smart move.

Looks like a really good app. Would be nice to have something like that for iOS.

Their web page states, "Coming soon to iPhone and Android"... I certainly know more than a few iOS users will be pretty excited.

I'm not seeing the big draw for a paid app here.  Only primary market notes, right, not folio notes?  I guess if you're normally out of the office during one of the 4 note issuing times and in a place with 4G service so you can compete, this might be a little worthwhile.

Yeah, I can understand if you continuously deal in folio, this isn't going to help you.  However, this works beautifully for investors like me who pretty much stick with the primary notes and are constantly on the go.
