Predictive Analytics Interest
« on: March 03, 2020, 10:55:24 AM »
Hi all,

I'm trying to gauge interest in predictive analytics for P2P lending. I know risk analysis is big for institutional lenders to limit risk and increase profit. I'm wondering if the P2P community at large is already using these techniques or if there is interest in purchasing these abilities. For example, I've made credit scoring models that can decrease the risk of default (which I defined as any "late" status) on lending club data from 1 in 4 to approximately 1 in 16 (https://foretodata.com/example-of-risk-analysis/). I also have experience in making interactive web apps for predictive analytics https://foretodata.com/example-of-apps/ which could make this service easy to use for non-programmers. Another option is to create an app that allows people to easily construct their own models and backtest how they perform.

There are other services out there that allow people to create conditions for buying these loans but I think they would underperform relative to machine learning techniques. I also think those other services overcharge, where I would plan on offering the service for a to-be-determined but lower fee.
