Add Filter Name column to "Notes invested (x)" dialog boxes
« on: March 23, 2014, 01:12:04 AM »
It sure would seem like a great enhancement and a natural fit if the “Notes invested (24hr)” and “Notes invested (mo)” dialog boxes had another column in the table that indicated what filter was used to submit/purchase the note.  Certainly they have this data. Hope that makes some sense.

For example, I have to P2P-Pick filters as shown in the Manage ... attachment.
And I would like this Notes Invested table (shown in Notes...attachment) to include a column so I know what Filter selected the note

Do you want to see the Filter Description or just the Source (BV filter/P2P-Picks filter)?

I personally use separate portfolios to manually track this, as I like to stay diversified in terms of strategy and can't manually limit the purchases in relation to other filters.   I would think the ability to see Filter Description would be useful, because if I didn't have the separate portfolios I still wouldn't know what mix I'm investing at.

Do you think a "data dump" feature would be useful? Such as a way to say, give me every note BV has invested for me from Date X to Date Y in CSV format?

More detailed than the source (BV or P2P). I would like the "Filter Name" within the P2P or BV filters.  So in my example, I would see which ones were picked because of my 5% filter or my 10% filter.

Within BV it would give you another layer of detail if you wanted a higher level of categorization. So I could have a Portfolio in LC that is just P2P-Picks and I could put both my BV filters to go to that LC Portfolio.

Aside: As well I do have a portfolio in LC, however, it is not showing up as an option in the BV interface ([Assign to Portfolio] option per filter).  My dropdown box is blank.  None-the-less it would be nice to debug BV rules or just understand them better if you can see which filter bought what notes in the last 24hr or last month.

Is it still showing the incorrect portfolio information? I tried to fix this last night and it appeared to work.

Correct it is not working. Dropdown box is empty. Just before my  post a minute ago I logged into LC and verify I had a portfolio created. It is assigned to my notes.  I also logged into BV and try to do the [Assign to Portfolilo] option on my of my P2P picks but the dropdown is blank.  I can create another thread on this or we can take it offline. Whatever helps I good with.

Sigh... I'll try yelling at it some more. Sorry.

Can you email me at Nathan@BlueAirSolutions.com so I can investigate this a little more?

Depends on what is in the CSV. If it had a "column" with the Filter Name then that would be great for several reasons.  It would still be more cumbersome to download it and look in Excel for this one peruse  vs just looking at the "Invested Notes 24hr/mo" table with a new "Filter Name "column added.

FYI, Lending Robot has this feature. Just watched their video.
