Anyone interesting in meeting up for a drink or to chat (hopefully both)?

Yes to both. Will you be at the cocktail party as well?

Where is Lendit2014? I've considered going to meet some of the forum people.

Potentially the price tag of $95 :)

When will you be speaking? I'm volunteering for the conference, but perhaps I can ask if I can listen in since I'm pretty interested in automation for retail investors.

Ah... well then. I guess it will remain to be seen if I'll be at the cocktail party =).

I spoke last year at the LendIt 2013 in New York. I received an email from Peter the other day asking if I wanted to speak again. He said he was having some sort of track for tools and such so I assume he wants me to talk in that. It's only for about 10 minutes or so. I just need to think of what I want to talk about! People are already pretty familiar with my service I'd think, I don't know what people would be interested in discussing.

Any coupons or free passes for it?

I wish! I still have to pay for my flight and hotel room.

Ha. It's not so bad. The trouble that it's just not that specialized. There's a million and a half different companies now and most with great ideas. When I went last year I expected much more Lending Club focus but was surprised to find people and companies from all sides of the spectrum. I think now Peter might be trying to price out all the individuals and to make room for all the big money guys.

I should try being one of those big money guys someday. :)

I feel your pain, for it to be feasible I signed up for an amex card - 50k Delta miles for spending $1000 in the first 3 months makes for a $10 plane ticket.  I live a pretty modest lifestyle so I decided to spring for the cocktail party.  I think it will be worth it and I'm excited to meet everyone.

I am going. I think I bought a cocktail party pass too. There will definitely be a diverse crowd at the conference. I run an alternative business lending magazine and I know several merchant cash advance companies that will be exhibiting at LendIt.
I'm a merchant cash advance veteran exploring the p2p lending waters.
