Daily scan of notes
« on: January 16, 2013, 05:30:13 PM »
Is anyone scanning notes daily and publishing a list of new "developments" in the collection log, e.g. Missed payments, bankruptcy filings, etc.?

I got a chuckle out of that question!  3/4 of my notes are 31-90 days late.  That means I only scan the collection logs for new BK's!  Then I check my account daily for any new charge-offs that might have popped up!

If I can get through Monday to Friday selling a few notes for a net gain, no new BK's and no new Charge-Offs, then I can wipe the sweat off my brow until Monday morning. That's a darn good week for me!

I mean scanning in an automated way.

(How many loans do you have?)
